Delhi, October 7: Air India flight AI2414, which departed from Bengaluru for New Delhi on Wednesday morning, arrived in Delhi approximately 25 minutes ahead of its scheduled arrival time. However, soon after crossing the main runway, the aircraft developed a technical problem, preventing it from reaching its designated parking bay for more than an hour.
The unexpected delay caused concern among passengers, who remained on board while the airline’s technical team worked to rectify the fault. After the issue was successfully resolved, the aircraft was safely moved to the parking stand, bringing relief to the passengers.
Although the flight was originally scheduled to arrive at Terminal 3, it was instead directed to Terminal 2. Passengers were subsequently transported by shuttle buses to Terminal 3.
No injuries or safety incidents were reported. Air India is yet to issue an official statement regarding the cause of the technical malfunction.
