Raichur: Dangerous explosives have been found near the main gate of Hatti Gold Mine in Lingasugur taluk of the district, creating panic among the workers and locals.
More than 15 cartridges of drugs used for explosions have been found on the main road near the gold mine company gate. It is not yet known who the explosives belong to. Hatti Gold Mine security personnel, officials and police are now on alert. Hatti police have visited the spot and inspected it.
Eyewitnesses say that the riders who were going on a Pulsar bike dropped the cartridges of drugs. However, doubts have been raised about the dangerous explosives being transported on the bike without any safety measures.
