Gulbarga Bar Association demands to give a lawyer a chance :: Kanakagiri MLC seat

Kalaburgi :: The Gulbarga Bar Association has demanded that the Congress high command consider Huligappa Kanakagiri for a Legislative Council seat as he is a lawyer and an active Congress worker.

Association president S.V. Pasara and several office bearers spoke at a press conference at the city’s Patrika Bhavan on Saturday. Huligappa Kanakagiri has already served as a member of the Mahanagara Palike. He is also at the forefront of the struggle to establish the High Court, Karnataka Administrative Tribunal, and Karnataka Consumer Disputes Court benches.

He said that he will always be at the forefront of providing sports events, grievance redressal, and government facilities for lawyers.

District Vice President of the Bar Association Bhimashankar L. Poojary, Manjunath G. Patil, Siddarama B. Wadi, and Manjunath Ginni were present.
