Alamela: A group of youths tried to set fire to Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal’s car in protest of his statement that he would give Rs 5 lakh for marrying Muslim girls
While he was going with escort cars in Alamela town of the district, some youths came in front of Yatnal’s car and tried to surround it. At this time, the police have taken the youths into custody.
Recently, a Hindu youth was murdered in Koppal. At this time, Yatnal had announced that he would give Rs 5 lakh if Hindu youths marry Muslim girls. Through this, he had said that Muslims who have the mentality of killing Hindus must be given an answer. The youth tried to stage a protest against Yatnal’s statement.
