Mangalore: Mahesh Timarodi’s statement accusing CM Siddaramaiah of murder has caused a huge debate. Mahesh Timarodi himself has responded to Home Minister Parameshwar’s instructions to register a case against Mahesh Timarodi and take action.
Speaking to reporters in Mangaluru, Mahesh Timarodi said that my statement shook the entire assembly today. That is a good thing. He said that the statement I gave that day was discussed today.
I did not say that CM Siddaramaiah committed murder. It was MLA Harish Poonja who made the statement that Siddaramaiah committed 24 murders. I said that day by quoting his statement. I questioned MLA Harish Poonja’s statement. He just did not understand my statement. Harish Poonja is making these allegations. I said that CM Siddaramaiah should answer this. Or else take action against Harish Poonja. He said that he should listen to my statement completely and speak.
They are now suggesting action to be taken for the statement I gave that day. What have you been doing all this time? The MLAs are making these allegations. Why is Siddaramaiah, who should have answered this, silent? I asked. Till today, he has not been able to answer this. Now, because I spoke quoting the statement given by the MLAs that day, they have now suggested action against me. Why is there no action against the MLAs? They have shouted that if I start talking, there is more.
