Your government wants to spend ₹ 613 crore per year on renting 46 road sweepers in Bangalore. But it costs about ₹ 2.5 crore to directly purchase the same machines from GeM.

- Who designed this absurd rental model of charging ₹ 2 crore per year per machine?
- Why is 80% of the full purchase cost of the machine being rented annually?
- Which contractors are being encouraged?
- Why was outright purchase (cheaper and transparent) not chosen?
- Who approved this tender proposal within GBA?
- What work was done before public money was used in this way?
- A series of questions have been asked as to why the taxpayers of Bengaluru should pay for this “rent-fraud” instead of real infrastructure.
Karnataka deserves answers, not excuses.
