She was speaking at the inauguration of the decade celebrations and closing ceremony of the summer camp organized by ‘Nataranga’ Cultural Academy and Trust (Re) recently at the Pandit Shri Bhimsen Joshi Theatre opposite the city’s BDO Office.
Preservation of heritage:
In today’s fast-paced life, people are forgetting their roots. At such a time, cultural programs like dance, music, drama and literature are doing an important job of uniting the society and preserving our heritage. He expressed his appreciation that the ‘Nataranga’ organization has been providing a platform to many young artists for the last ten years and encouraging them.

Success and Respect:
Speaking after receiving the honor at the program, he said, “The respect a person gets in the society is the reward for his hard work. This respect that I am getting today is not mine alone; it is my family who are my strength, my teachers who are my guiding light and my fans who have always supported me. Success is never a solitary achievement,” he said mystically.
A word to young talents:
Addressing the young artists, he inspired them by saying, “Never underestimate the talent you have. There is no substitute for hard work. Even if opportunities come late, do not get discouraged and believe in your dreams. One day, you will definitely get the right respect for your achievements.”

The divine presence of Sri M.G.C. Abhinava Panchakshara Shivacharya Mahaswamy was present at the program. Member of the Legislative Council, Sri S. V. Sankanura presided over the program. The chief guests were senior theatre artist Mandya Ramesh, MLAs Dr. Chandru Lamanai, Shri Raju Kuradagi, Shri Krishnagowda Patil and many dignitaries.
On this occasion, Shri Baba Hussain Gulagandi, who had achieved success in the field of agriculture, was honored with the ‘Nataranga Sadhakaratna Award-2026’. Various cultural programs and drama performances by the campers attracted the attention of the audience.
