I will speak to Ramalinga Reddy: CM D K Shivakumar

Bengaluru, June 5: Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said he would speak to Ramalinga Reddy about his resignation.

“Ramalinga Reddy is an important leader and very dear to me, and I will speak with him. Ramalinga Reddy is not from a rural area. He has been given the Water Resources Ministry, but he wishes to work in the urban region,” he said while speaking to reporters here.

When asked about some workers/party activists also resigning, he said, “Whatever the situation, discipline is very important.”

Annamma Devi’s Blessings:
After visiting the temple of Annamma Devi, the guardian deity of Bengaluru city, he responded to the media: “Annamma Devi is the village deity of Bengaluru. The deity of the land/state is Mother Chamundi. I have prayed for good rains, good crops, prosperity, and peace in the state, and I have begun my work.”
