Hyderabad/Munirabad: A delegation from Karnataka visited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad and extended a formal invitation for him to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Tungabhadra Reservoir’s new crest gates.
Following the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, the delegation, comprising MLC Basanagouda Badarli and former ministers N.S. Boseraju and Basavaraja Rayareddi, met the Andhra CM. During the meeting, they explained the significance of the event scheduled for June 25 in Munirabad.

CM Chandrababu Naidu accepted the invitation and expressed his consent to attend the program in person. Andhra Pradesh Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu and P. Keshav were also present during this meeting. The inauguration of the renovated crest gates is a milestone for farmers in both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, and the presence of the neighboring state’s Chief Minister is expected to further strengthen the water-sharing ties between the two states.
