Karnataka Government Continuously Working for Child Protection: Justice Anu Sivaraman

Bengaluru, March 1: Hon’ble Justice Anu Sivaraman, Judge of the Karnataka High Court and Executive Chairperson of the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, stated that the state government is working continuously regarding the protection of children and their rights in Karnataka.
Speaking after inaugurating the “State Level Judicial Meeting for Child Protection” at the Karnataka Judicial Academy today, she noted that the number of missing children is increasing year by year. She emphasized the need to first understand the root causes behind children going missing. She added that the government is constantly working in this direction, and protection is being provided to children under the law.
The event was attended by Justice S. Sunil Dutt Yadav, Judge of the Karnataka High Court and Chairman of the Juvenile Justice and POCSO Committee, Ravikanth, National Convener of Child Rights (New Delhi), and other dignitaries.
