No matter how many times I have been the Chief Minister, I have been satisfied only when I have worked for the farmers. Whether I have power or not, I will be among the people. Every moment of my life is dedicated to the soil of this country,” he said with a sob.

A huge silver plough was gifted to him by the farmers’ organisations.
