Former CM Siddaramaiah Behind Denial of Cabinet Berth to Tanveer Sait: MLC H. Vishwanath’s Serious Allegations

Mysuru: MLC H. Vishwanath has leveled serious allegations against a former Chief Minister from the Mysuru district, blaming him for denying senior MLA Tanveer Sait a cabinet berth in the state government.

Speaking to the media in Mysuru, Vishwanath launched a scathing attack, stating that while the cabinet formation is supposed to align with the principles and ideologies of the Congress party, experienced leaders like Tanveer Sait were unjustly sidelined.

  • Political Insecurity:

Vishwanath alleged that the former Chief Minister blocked Tanveer Sait’s induction into the cabinet out of fear that Sait’s elevation would diminish his own son’s political influenc.

  • Selfish Politics:

Accusing the leader of prioritizing personal interests, Vishwanath remarked, “For the sake of their own selfishness, the state of Karnataka has already been ruined.”

  • Boycott of Oath-Taking Ceremony: Hitting out further, the MLC criticized former CM Siddaramaiah for skipping the ministers’ oath-taking ceremony, attributing his absence to an attitude of arrogance.

Vishwanath’s direct and bold remarks have triggered fresh political ripples within the state, putting the spotlight back on internal friction and the treatment of senior leaders within the Congress party.
