DEVARA HIPPARAGI: Ahead of the upcoming political developments in the district, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) State General Secretary Dr. Prabhuling Lingadahalli addressed a press conference here on Thursday, calling for a massive show of strength during Minister Dr. M.B. Patil’s scheduled visit to the constituency on April 2nd.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Lingadahalli emphasized that the visit of the Heavy and Medium Industries Minister, who is also the Vijayapura District In-charge, is a strategic move to fortify the party’s grassroots foundation. “Our focus is on micro-management at the booth level. Minister M.B. Patil will directly interact with the ground-level cadre to draft a roadmap for the upcoming elections,” he stated.

Focus on Development and Governance:
Highlighting the state government’s performance, the KPCC General Secretary noted that the implementation of the ‘Five Guarantees’ has created a strong pro-Congress wave. He urged the party workers to act as bridge-builders between the government and the public, ensuring that every eligible beneficiary in the Devara Hipparagi constituency is reached.

The Mega Event:
The party has organized a large-scale workers’ convention at the Paradeshi Math premises in Devara Hipparagi on April 2nd, 2026, at 1:00 PM. This meet will see the participation of sitting and former MLAs, heads of various boards and corporations, and senior party functionaries.
